Hope 53 Ministries Inc was chartered in Stanford, Kentucky in 2015 under the immutable authority of God's Word, the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, and the solemn call to defend the fatherless and comfort the brokenhearted.
Our ministry takes its name from the 53rd chapter of the prophet Isaiah—the supreme Old Testament revelation of the suffering Messiah:
Because Christ bore our sorrows, we have an eternal living hope. We are called to be ministers of this peace—serving fatherless children in Haiti, lonely widows in Kentucky, and burdened callers across the nation with the compassion of Christ.
What we believe, teach, and stand upon without compromise.
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is verbally inspired by God, without error in its original manuscripts, and the supreme final authority for all Christian faith and practice.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, Creator of heaven and earth, sovereign over all creation.
We believe salvation is the free gift of God offered to sinful mankind through the sacrificial death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ alone, received solely by grace through repentance and faith, not of works.
"Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men." — 2 Corinthians 8:21
